Please PRINT and sign our guest policy. The signed policy must be sent with your deposit to reserve a vacation rental.

PAYMENTS:
• MASTERCARD/VISA/DISCOVER/AMERICAN EXPRESS/PERSONAL CHECKS/MONEY ORDERS/CASHIER CHECKS are accepted forms of payment. All final payments must be received within 30 days prior to check in.

DEPOSITS:
• Deposits will be required to secure your reservation. Deposits will be 30% of the reservation cost to be applied to the reservation cost when balance is due. Deposits will be required within 7 days of initial booking date (unless booking date is within 30 days of reservation--then full payment will be required).

CLEANING DEPOSIT:
• A $100.00 refundable cleaning deposit will be required with reservation deposit. If all of the tasks in the Check-Out Policy have been completed, your deposit will be refunded to you in the form of a check within 14 days after check-out.

AGE REQUIREMENT:
• Minimum age to book a reservation is 25 years of age and must be a resident of the house for the entire stay of reservation.

CANCELLATION:
• Canceling may result in the forfeiture of all or part of your rental payment/deposit. Canceling your reservation up to 30 days prior to your check in, will result in a loss of your deposit up to $100.00. Canceling your reservation within the 30 days period before you are scheduled to check in, will result in loss of all monies paid to date.

REQUIRED INFORMATION :
• A signed copy of this contract, a copy of individual making the reservation’s driver’s license, vehicle license plate number, names and ages of registered adults and children staying at the property and current credit card information will be required at the time of reservation. Please submit within 7 days of making reservation.

MAINTENANCE, REBATES, REFUNDS:
• Every effort has been made to make sure all equipment in each rental unit is in working order. Please contact us with any inoperative equipment immediately. We will make every reasonable effort to have the repairs made as soon as possible. No reduction in rent, rebate or refund will be issued for any mechanical failure of air conditioning, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer/dryer, TV, or any other appliance. NO REFUND OF RENT FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER, CHANGE IN FERRY SCHEDULE OR ACTS OF GOD BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

HOUSE PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES:
• Should a house party be identified in a unit, occupancy will be terminated IMMEDIATELY with NO REFUND. Accommodations are strictly limited to the number shown:
  • Andy’s Place--can accommodate up to 4 people.
  • The Getaway--can accommodate 6 people.
  • Sea Breeze/Lakeshore/Mariner--can accommodate 6 people.

QUIET TIME:
• Quiet time is observed from 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. Please respect neighbors.

PETS:
• Sorry, NO renters (or their guests) are permitted to bring pets to the unit. You will be requested to vacate the premises--without refund-if a pet is discovered.

TRAILERS AND MOTOR HOMES:
• Sorry, they are NOT permitted on the property due to parking limitations.

BOATS/KAYAKS/SKIDOOS:
• Parking may be permitted if space allows. Check with management.

TENTS:
• Sorry, tents are NOT permitted on the property due to zoning codes.

PARKING:
• Off street parking is available at each unit.

GOLF CART/VEHICLES:
• Golf Carts and Vehicles are required to stay on stoned surfaces/driveways. No vehicles are to be driven on any grass surfaces.

ITEMS LEFT BEHIND:
• We are not responsible for items left behind.

SMOKING:
• All units are NON SMOKING due to Ohio Law.

BURNING/CANDLES/CAMPFIRES:
• Due to fire hazard, there is no burning, candles or campfires allowed at these units.

RENTAL FURNISHINGS:
• Each unit is furnished with linens, towels (except beach towels), blankets, pillows, bedspreads, fully equipped kitchens and gas grill. Please do not rearrange furniture in the units.

DAMAGES:
• Any damage and/or theft of any property will be the responsibility of the guest making the reservation. We reserve the right to charge your credit card on file for damages and/or theft. We, also, reserve the right to have criminal charges filed with the Erie County Prosecutors Office along with a police report filed with the Kelleys Island Police Department or the City of Huron Police Department if necessary.

CHECKING IN/CHECKING OUT:
• Check in time at each unit is at 3:00PM. Check out time is at 11:00 AM. Prompt departure is necessary to prevent delay of guests checking in behind you.

UNREGISTERED GUESTS:
• No unregistered guests will be permitted to stay on the premises OVERNIGHT.

TELEPHONES:
• There is no land line hook up for land line telephones at any of the units.

MINIMUM RENTAL:
• There is a 2 night minimum stay at all Leisure World Vacation Rental, LLC properties.

RESERVATION CONFIRMATION PACKET:
• You will receive confirmation of all payments made by US Mail and/or email. As final balance is paid, you will receive a letter which will include your code to the keyless entry and directions for use by US Mail and/or email.

CHECK-OUT POLICY:
• Please read and understand the check-out policy that follows.

GARBAGE COLLECTION:
• Kelleys Island guests will be responsible for taking their garbage. Please dispose of it at the Kelleys Island Transfer Station on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday. A KI Transfer Station Pass is provided. There is a minimal charge.

LEISURE WORLD VACATION RENTALS, LLC CHECK-OUT POLICY:
UPON CHECKING OUT, PLEASE:
• Bathrooms:
  • 1) Wipe down the moisture in the shower/tub and sinks with a used towel.
  • 2) Wash, dry and fold used towels. Please have the ones you have used before checkout washing in washer or drying.
  • 3) Wipe down sinks.
  • 4) Broom clean tile floors and take garbage out.
• Kitchen:
  • 1) Make sure dishes are clean and put away or are washing if there is a full load. (Please do not run the dishwasher for just a couple of dishes).
  • 2) Wipe down sink, refrigerator, stove and microwave.
  • 3) Please take out the garbage. (Don’t forget throw away the coffee grounds.)
  • 4) Broom clean linoleum floors.
• Living Room:
  • 1) Reset Thermostat to 78* in summer and 60* in winter.
  • 2) Re-set TV to Weather Channel
    (Channel 362:Andy’s Place/Sea Breeze/Lakeshore; Channel 11.2:The Getaway; Channel 51:Mariner)
  • 3) Re-organize brochures
  • 4) Turn off Ceiling Fans/Lights.
• Bedrooms:
  • 1) Place used sheets at foot of bed.
  • 2) Stack comforter and blankets on bed
  • 3) Turn off Ceiling Fans/Lights.
• Outside:
  • 1) If you use the grill, make sure it is clean and ready for the next guests.
• PLEASE:
  • 1) DO NOT lean back on the toilets—it causes seal damage and can crack the tank. (Which would be a costly repair for you)
  • 2) DO NOT leave the air conditioner on if you open the windows.
  • 3) DO NOT leave the lids off of the garbage cans. (The animals love treats.)
  • 4) DO NOT leave doors open for bugs to fly in or smash them on the walls or ceiling.

• Descriptions, prices and other amenities listed are subject to change without notice. Omissions, additions or errors as well as changes in furnishings, bedding arrangements, equipment, etc. may be made by the owner.

The management, its heirs and assigns, are to be held harmless and without recourse for ANY liability incurred by their guest(s) while under the occupancy of Leisure World Vacation Rentals, LLC.
